My research interests lie in machine learning and optimization. Specifically, I employ optimization methods with theoretical guarantees to efficiently solve practical problems.
My current research focuses on designing optimization algorithms to train machine learning models that satisfy real-world requirements, such as risk aversion, fairness, and robustness, rather than merely optimizing for average performance.
